CLIMATE COMPASS offers a wide range of materials and information, available in several languages.

These materials are to contribute to awareness and know-how of local authorities in all the fields relevant for local climate change policies, but also for use in the CLIMATE COMPASS processes.

 

  • CLIMATE COMPASS - a roadmap for local climate protection is the promotional leaflet for Climate Compass, available in en, de, es, fr, it. 

  • Brochure on role and fields of action for local authorities, up to know available in de, es, it. The english and french versions are under preparation.

  • the Compendium of Measures is the central tool of CLIMATE COMPASS. It provides a basic structure for the selection of possible measures for the local climate action programme.

  • the Recommended Measures are those measures which have proven to be simple to implement and, independent from framework conditions, promise success. These measures should be on top of the list of local authorities starting to become active on local climate change policies.

  • the Case Studies are to demonstrate the feasibility of the projects and measures chosen and to provide practical hints for implementation.

  • the Resources section provides tools, databases and other sources of information which will support you in selecting and implementing the various elements of your local climate action programme.
