For Promoters

The European CLIMATE COMPASS project aims at developing a methodological approach for initial on-site advice to local authorities willing to set up a climate change programme. The project includes the development of the methodology, together with pilot local authorities, and a training course for promoters of this methodology.

The methodology mainly addresses smaller towns and municipalities in Central and Eastern Europe as well as in Mediterranean countries. Promoters, and therefore participants of the training are consultants, NGOs, regional authorities and any other organisation working with local authorities in the field of climate protection or environment in general.
