How to become a Promoter?
The CLIMATE COMPASS Promoters are qualified experts to provide advice and guidance to local authorities all over Europe when these are developing their climate action programme.
A special training, developed in the project, aims at transfering all know-how and skills necessary to accompany a local authority in this process, which includes the development of immediate, short-term measures, but also a take-off for decisions towards more and more sustainable structures and processes in the medium and long term.
If you work:
- as a consultant in one of the relvant fields (energy, transport, etc.)
- for a national / regional association of local authorities or a city network in the field of environment or sustainable development
- for a NGO which cooperates with local authorities in the fields of climate change policies, energy policies, sustainable development, etc.
- as a regional Local Agenda 21 co-ordinators or other transfer institutions
- regional bodies and authorities who are in charge of co-ordinating and supporting Local Agenda 21 and other sustainability processes
